If you have any love for me at all, you will never, ever ask me about the bathroom floor and the two Mr. Clean Magic Erasers it took to resuscitate it. I didn’t gag, but at least I’ve put the thought in your mind and you can now effectively simulate the mental state I was in when I was on my hands and knees scrubbing behind the toilet. We shall not speak of this again.
The movers arrived on time at 8 a.m., and did a fantastic job. Thanks again to Doc, Dave and Tony. Give DNC Moving in Courtney, BC a call if you’re moving in western Canada. They also use Minimove.ca as a broker.
It occurred to me by the end of the day that I had not meaningfully bathed since Kelowna, so as the Sun was setting on another glorious September day I took the phone book and my map over to the window to find a Wal-Mart because I had no shower curtain and the bathroom window glass was clear. There was a store right down Stony Plain Road at 184th Street. A ways away but a nearly straight line from where I’m living. At least on the map.
