Donald Trump’s America Poster
One-hundred-and-five years ago, cartoonist Udo J Keppler saw the interests of capitalists and plutocrats at odds with his country’s stated goals of liberty and justice for all. The Golden Calf reigned supreme.
With the election of Donald J Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America, it brings this threat to the forefront once more. Let’s keep shining an unforgiving light on him and his cronies’ activities.

Hi Scott, I like the poster and your other work! I would like to mention that the issue of extreme wealth inequality, systemic political corruption and plutocracy aren’t unfortunately a manifestation of Trump’s administration. I’m glad that Trump is bringing this existential problem to people’s attention but this issue is not a partisan one. Recall the Obama administrations failure to prosecute those responsible for the 2008 financial crisis, or the fact that his cabinet was largely suggested by Citigroup. Trump certainly merits all the ire and scrutiny we the people can muster but the problem is bigger than Trump (and his ego). Keep up the good work!
Max –
Obama was important as a symbol, and as a symbol he was hated and reviled by the opposition, so much so that every legislative achievement he tried to bring to bear was badly compromised or died in the Republican-controlled house under Mitch McConnell. Sadly, we never did get to see what kind of law-making president he might have been with people across the aisle that might have been willing to work with him.
Trump is a different beast. There are no redeeming qualities in this man. His naked disregard for anything positive, and his deep hatred of anyone not rich, entitled and white is a stain on the US. By comparison, Obama is a fricking saint of human decency, even though, as you point out, his legacy of leadership is seemingly undecided at this point.
